3. What cookies and similar technologies are

Similar technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, can also store information in your browser. They help a website do things like keep you signed in, remember your settings, and return you to the right page after login.

5. What we do not currently use
We do not currently use advertising cookies, social media pixels, session replay tools, or third-party tracking cookies in our application. The only analytics cookies are the Google Analytics cookies listed above, and they are set only if you choose “Accept All”. We also self-host our fonts rather than loading them from Google’s font CDN.
6. Cookie consent
When you first visit the site, we show a cookie banner with two options:
- Only Necessary
- Accept All
Your choice is stored in the cookie_consent cookie for 1 year.
If you choose “Accept All”, we also load Google Analytics, which sets the analytics cookies listed in section 4. If you choose “Only Necessary”, Google Analytics does not load.
7. How to manage your choices
You can manage cookies and browser storage through your browser settings.
Most browsers allow you to:
- view what cookies are stored;
- delete cookies;
- block some or all cookies; and
- clear localStorage and sessionStorage.
If you block or clear technologies that are needed for login or navigation, parts of the site may stop working properly and you may be signed out.
To withdraw your consent to analytics cookies, clear the cookies for revisionsensei.com in your browser. The cookie banner will then appear again, and Google Analytics will not load unless you choose “Accept All”.
8. Third-party services and technical logs
Apart from Google Analytics, which we use only if you choose “Accept All”, our application does not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. However, when you use the site, infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare, Vercel and Render may process technical log data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, as part of hosting, delivery and security. That server-side processing is covered in our Privacy Policy and is separate from cookies set by our application.
If you move to a third-party page or service, that third party may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.
If we make an important change, we will take reasonable steps to let users know, for example on the site.
